•	Promoting the use of industry products through publications, seminars, and technical meetings.
•	Maintaining and expanding the comprehensive statistical programs which track changes & trends in the industry domestically and worldwide.
•	Developing industry standards and specifications.
•	Providing opportunities for education in technological trends and breakthroughs, management trends and techniques as well as topical subjects related to the electronics industry.
•	Providing a meaningful forum where representatives from the industry can work together to address challenges to and/or changes in the industry.
•	Interfacing with national and international standards and trade organizations as well as government bodies to -

Ensure that their standards, specifications, and testing programs are practical and meaningful.

Encourage use of standards and specifications published by this industry association.

Ensure that regulations are beneficial and not harmful to the industry.
